Rubber is a material that reacts to a wide variety of wavelengths. Selection of a given wavelength is dependant on a number of factors and samples should be processed before final selection of a laser system.
Rubber reacts favorably to CO2, infrared, green, and ultraviolet wavelengths. A CO2 laser creates a good mark while the infrared, green, and ultraviolet laser creates a finer, thinner mark. |
